Create a beautifully cross-stitched bookmark to keep your place with this advanced kit. The Goldfish is an oil on canvas still-life painting by Henri Matisse. It is part of a series he produced between the spring and early summer of 1912. The canvas is vibrant, with strong colors and an original composition that draws the viewer’s eye into the heart of the painting.
This kit includes everything you need to recreate a section of Matisse’s work: Mouliné Spécial threads on an organizer, 14-count white Aida fabric, two backing cards, a needle and easy-to-follow instructions. Henri Matisse was a French artist of the early 20th century, known for his vibrant use of color, distinctive draftsmanship and his role as a leading figure in the Fauvist movement.
