Skill Level: Absolute Beginner - While this embroidery project is completely customizable, we designed it so that a beginner could stitch the entire design in a simple backstitch. Experienced embroiders will enjoy filling in areas with more advanced stitches.

Pre-Printed Embroidery Cloth ( 18”x18” printed in color on white cotton-linen fabric)
Backing Fabric (18”x18”, 100% cotton)
Embroidery Thread (8 colors of DMC six-strand embroidery floss to match the pre-printed design)

Instructions

Designed by SLO native and graphic artist Cedar O’Reilly, the images on the embroidery cloth show some of our favorite spots in the city of San Luis Obispo. The cloth is not embroidered, but comes ready to be embroidered by YOU. The colors on the cloth can be used as a guideline, but you can choose whatever colors you like.

Once complete, you can turn your SLO City Sampler into a pillow or tote bag, or just hang on your wall to be admired.
