Skill Level: Absolute Beginner - While this embroidery project is completely customizable, we designed it so that a beginner could stitch the entire design in a simple back-stitch. Experienced embroiders will enjoy filling in areas with more advanced stitches.

If you want only the pre-printed embroidery cloth, it can be purchased separately here.

Backing Fabric (18”x18”, 100% cotton)
Embroidery Thread (8 colors of DMC six-strand embroidery floss to match the pre-printed design)

Instructions

Designed by SLO native and graphic artist Cedar O’Reilly, the sampler is created to be a stitched celebration of favorite places and icons from around California. The cloth is not embroidered, but comes ready to be embroidered by YOU. The colors on the cloth can be used as a guideline, but you can choose whatever colors you like.

Once complete, you can turn your California  Embroidery Sampler into a pillow or tote bag, or frame and hang on your wall to be admired.
