This comfortable, casual dress includes lots of fun details: hidden on-seam front pockets, shirttail hem, buttons at the shoulders, pleat detail at the front neck, a back yoke with pleat for extra ease, and simple shirt-sleeve cuffs. This is a great style for color-blocking, and it can also be worn with leggings for a tunic look.

After successfully sewing this pattern, you will have developed the following skills: flat-set sleeves and in-seam pocket.

Suggested Fabrics:
Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, shirting, poplin, broadcloth, and linen. May also be suitable for some stable knits.

Six 1/2" buttons, coordinating thread, lightweight fusible interfacing.
