Tree Ornament Embroidery Sampler
From Dropcloth Samplers
An embroidery sampler that when complete you can sew into four festive holiday ornaments.
This sampler includes four tree panels and four tree trunks for you to embroider by hand. The original uses back stitch, couching, and french knots, but you can choose your own stitches to suit your own taste. For best results, we recommend using 3 strands of embroidery floss or size 8 perle cotton in your needles. Choose your favorite colors.
This sampler lends itself to a lot of color and sparkle- the couching around the outside is a great place to use metallic threads.

We like a size 6- but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.

* For best results, we recommend backing this sampler with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing in the embroidery hoop.
* This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.
